#OneBraveNight 1 Week in

cityspace

I am creating art every day until April 6th. In hopes to bring awareness to Mental Illness.

1 in 5 Canadians will suffer from one form of Mental Illness in their lifetime. That’s 4 children in a class room of 20! That’s a lot of suffering.

If not handled correctly, Mental Illness can be deadly, it can consume your life, your everyday move, your thoughts and your feelings. I have been there. I suffer from Manic Depression and I am taking a stand against it and taking control of my life.

I took the #OneBraveNight challenge because I want to inspire hope for people living with mental illness now – and to defeat mental illness. By making a donation to my One Brave Night, you are helping CAMH improve access to care, conduct research to find better treatments, and build more spaces for healing.

This is our chance to step up! Please donate generously and help me reach my fundraising goal.lennon

Come to my Art Show on April 6th 6pm-10pm Toronto-exact location TBA *all art will be available for donation*

Please follow me on my social media platforms to behind the scenes of my art progress and final pieces available for donation

onebraveDear Friends, Family & Followers

On April 6, I’ll be stepping up to defeat mental illness as I have been no stranger to depression and anxiety

I am participating in CAMH One Brave Night for Mental Health, a Canada-wide challenge to inspire hope for the one in five Canadians who experience mental illness in any given year.

I’ll be making art everyday for the next 51 days to bring awareness for mental illness. I will be posting my works on my social media platforms. If you see an art piece you would like to own, please make a donation to my page and I will send it on its way to you! Please visit my fundraising page: http://give.camh.ca/site/TR/OBN/OneBraveNight?px=1155886&pg=personal&fr_id=1101 and sponsor me with a donation of $35, $50, $100 or more.
